  • What should I bring?

    Your personal items, including your bathing suit! You’ll find everything you need for sleeping, cooking, and making a fire here. Different types of dwellings offer different amenities. Details can be found on their respective pages.

    Is it okay to bring my pet?

    Certainly. Because we know your pups are part of your family, we would never force you to leave them behind. Be sure to use a leash for every walk and keep your pet off the furniture. There is a $35 cleaning fee.

    How can I get to my dwelling?

    When you arrive at Repère Boréal, follow the directions to the reception pavilion. We will give you the key to your accommodation and show you how to find it. You can park at your dwelling.

    When can I access the dwelling?

    You can check into your accommodation from 4 p.m. on the day you arrive. We cannot guarantee access if you arrive earlier.

    If I arrive and the reception pavilion is closed, what should I do?

    Should you arrive late, you should still go to the reception pavilion. The directions to your accommodation can be found there.

    Can I do any activities on the site?

    You can relax in the Nordic spa, explore the site with the goats and chickens, take advantage of the reception pavilion’s spacious terrace, or simply daydream beneath the canopy. If you prefer more planned activities, Charlevoix offers more than 500 km of hiking trails, a variety of waterways, wonderful restaurants, and colourful artists.

    What are the must-see places?

    We have a long list of favourites to recommend, but our top pick has to be Cap-aux-Oies beach. Visit our reception pavilion for supplies and head to the beach just 3.9 kilometres from Repère Boréal. Our receptionists can help with more suggestions.

    Do you provide the wood?

    There is a bin full of wood ($) on your property. A fire starter kit is included in the box. You just need to bring your skills! (To prevent the spread of disease between trees in different regions, the government prohibits the transportation of wood.)

    Can I cancel my reservation?

    It is possible to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund 30 days before your arrival date. A reservation that is less than 30 days away cannot be modified or cancelled. Payment is non-refundable, but you can transfer the reservation to someone else.

    Why is a security deposit needed?

    It makes it easier for you to get the goods you want at the reception pavilion, and it provides extra protection in case of damage. You will receive your deposit back within a week after your stay unless you purchase anything on-site.
